BC ONE — powered by Bike Courier
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information BC One, powered by Bike Courier ("BC One", "we", "us"), collects from you as a customer, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
We access your device's location, in the foreground only, when it is required for pickup/location functionality and related delivery features. This is used to:
• Set your pickup address accurately when booking a parcel delivery.
• Calculate distance, route, and fare estimates between pickup and drop locations.
• Show order tracking while a delivery is in progress.
Location access is foreground-only — we do not access your location in the background or when the app is not in use. You can review or withdraw location access at any time from your device's Settings, though doing so may limit booking and tracking features.
With your permission, we send push and local notifications to keep you informed about your orders, including:
• Real-time tracking alerts (e.g. a rider has been assigned or has arrived).
• Delivery updates and estimated arrival changes.
• Order status changes, such as pickup, in-transit, delivered, or cancelled.
These notifications are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging, a third-party push-notification service; no additional personal information is shared with it beyond what is needed to deliver a notification to your device. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings, though you may miss time-sensitive updates about active orders.
With your permission, we use your device's camera for QR/barcode scanning and to capture photos of receipts and documents for Business Hub features such as expenses and inventory. Captured images are used only for the scanning or record-keeping action you initiate — we do not access your camera at any other time.
With your permission, we use your device's microphone for Voice AI — so you can manage inventory, billing, and expenses using spoken commands. The microphone is only active while you are actively using the Voice AI feature; we do not record audio continuously or in the background.
With your permission, you may select an existing photo, receipt, or document from your device's gallery for scanning or document-related features, using your device's system photo picker. We only access the specific photo you choose — we do not access your entire photo library.
To provide parcel and flower delivery services, we collect and store:
• Sender and receiver names and phone numbers, for each booking.
• Pickup and delivery addresses.
• Your order history, covering both parcel deliveries and flower purchases.
• Payment details required to process online payments or record cash-on-delivery orders (card/UPI details are handled by our payment partner and are never stored on our own servers).
We use the information above to create and fulfil your orders, calculate fares, assign and coordinate riders, provide customer support, and improve the reliability of our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share the minimum information necessary with the rider assigned to your order (e.g. pickup/drop address and receiver contact details) so they can complete the delivery, and with our payment partner to process online payments securely.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data at every step.
You can review, update, or delete your profile details at any time from the Profile section of the app, and manage location and notification permissions from your device's Settings. Contact us using the details below for any other privacy request, including account deletion.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, reach us at support@bikecourierservice.com or call +91 82780 47075.
